  • By accessing this Site you agree to the terms that appear below together with any specific terms set out on individual pages within this site. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.

    Rates
    The rates quoted on Shire hotel websites are accurate at the date of publication and are intended to be applicable until the 31st March 2013 unless otherwise stated. All information and rates are, however, subject to change upon notice and we recommend therefore that you review the website at regular intervals to check for any changes posted.

    Midweek & Weekend Short Breaks
    Shire Hotels Short Break prices are based on two people sharing a twin or double room for a one night stay (certain prices are based on a minimum two night stay and this is specified, where appropriate). Those hotels with a minimum two night stay restriction may offer one night weekend stays (subject to availability) for which a £25 per person supplement is charged. Please call the hotel of your choice for more information.

    Prices include service and VAT at the current rate, breakfast and, where stated, three course a la carte dinner. All prices were correct at time of public In the unlikely event that we need to change a price we will advise you when you make your booking.

    Single rooms
    Although we don’t have any single rooms, you can enjoy a double or twin room on your own, by paying a single supplement of just £25 per night on a weekend night. Unfortunately we can’t extend this rate to midweek nights, and therefore normal midweek sole occupancy rates apply.

    Payment
    Payment should be made in full when you check out using cash, cheque or any of the major credit cards.

    Deposits & cancellation
    Normally, Short Breaks can be confirmed by credit card number or in writing - no deposit is needed. However, at certain times of year (Christmas and New Year for instance) a deposit may be needed - we will advise you if this is the case when you make your booking.

    If your plans need to change, please give as much notice as possible about your cancellation by phoning the hotel. If you cancel before 2:00 pm the day before your arrival there will be no charge. Cancellations after this time will incur a charge of the first night's bed and breakfast rate.

    Other accommodation bookings
    Unless otherwise indicated prices are quoted per person per night and include English breakfast, free car parking, use of the Spa, complimentary morning newspaper and VAT at the current rate.

    Confirmations
    You will need to confirm your booking by credit card guarantee or in writing.

    Cancellations
    You may cancel up until 10am on the day of arrival without penalty. Cancellation after this time will incur a charge for the first nights accommodation.

    Conference & meetings and weddings & events accommodation
    Full terms and conditions are detailed on the reverse of our business order form, which will be provided by the hotel once confirmation of reservation is received. These will protect both parties and cover: Charges and payment. Amendments and cancellation by the client. Amendment or cancellation by the hotel. Client's use of the hotel, plus arrival and departure. Insurance liability. Emergency evacuation. General terms and conditions.

    Regarding conference and meetings, delegate rates are based on a minimum of ten people and include VAT at the current rate.


    Accuracy of details
    While we have tried to ensure that all information about the Hotels, facilities, attractions and events is accurate we cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case. Please do remember that facilities may alter from time to time and Shire Hotels cannot be held responsible for any changes that occur or any errors or omissions in respect of the information. Liability is therefore excluded for any loss of expense incurred further to reliance upon such information.

Shire Hotels will not loan, rent or sell your personal details to any third parties without your prior consent and will comply with all data protection legislation in force from time to time with regard to the treatment of any data it collects using the website. You will not receive unsolicited e-mails from us.

    This website uses third party conversion tracking to track online conversions gained from search engine marketing.

    The information contained on this Site may contain or be subject to trade marks, copyright, database rights or other intellectual property rights belonging to Shire Hotels and /or any Licensor of Shire Hotels. No License in respect of such intellectual property rights is granted and save for displaying the information in your computer screen and/or printing one copy for your own personal records you may not reproduce, modify, copy, publish, distribute or make available to the public any of the information accessed on this Site without prior written consent.

    Use
    You agree that you will not undertake any action that interferes or attempts to interfere with the proper working of this Site and that you will not take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large loan on the Site's infrastructure.

    Choice of law
    These Terms and Conditions are subject to English Law and any dispute in relation to them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
