Accommodation Bookings


All information and rates are subject to change and we recommend therefore that you review the website at regular intervals to check for any changes posted. Prices include service and VAT at the current rate.

Single rooms

Although we don’t have any single rooms, you can enjoy a double or twin room on your own, by paying a single supplement of just £25 per night on a weekend night. Unfortunately we can’t extend this rate to midweek nights, and therefore normal midweek sole occupancy rates apply.


Payment should be made in full when you check out using cash or any of the major credit cards. We accept most credit cards, but apply a 1.5% transaction charge for American Express and Diners (which is the additional cost for us to process these cards). We’re sorry but cheques cannot be accepted.

Deposits /Advance Payments

Normally, rooms can be confirmed by credit card number or in writing – no deposit is needed. However, at certain times of year (Christmas and New Year for instance) a deposit may be needed – we will advise you if this is the case when you make your booking.

If you buy an Advance Purchase option you will need to pay in full when making your booking in order to benefit from this saving and this is a non-refundable/non-transferable rate should you need to cancel the booking.


You will need to confirm your booking by credit card guarantee or in writing.


On a fully flexible rate you may cancel up until 10am on the day of arrival without penalty. Cancellation after this time will incur a charge for the first nights accommodation. Other rates may have different cancellation policies and you will be advised of these at the time of booking.

Online event bookings

All tickets reserved online for events will to be paid for at the time of booking with a credit or debit card. All tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to alternative events. Once you have paid for your tickets you will receive an email confirmation/ticket which you should bring with you on the night. If you want to book 10 or more seats at one of the events, you can call your chosen hotel and they can hold these for you with a deposit of £10 per person, but will need full prepayment at prior to the event.

Conference & meetings and weddings & events

Full terms and conditions are detailed on the reverse of our business order form, which will be provided by the hotel once confirmation of reservation is received. These will protect both parties and cover: Charges and payment. Amendments and cancellation by the client. Amendment or cancellation by the hotel. Client’s use of the hotel, plus arrival and departure. Insurance liability. Emergency evacuation. General terms and conditions.
Conference delegate rates are based on a minimum of ten people and include VAT at the current rate.
